Recent Visa Policy Updates (2025)
China Expands Visa-Free Access

As of November 30, 2024, Chinese citizens can enter North Macedonia visa-free for up to 30 days, extended from the previous 15-day allowance. This policy is valid until December 31, 2025. ​

Taiwan Visa-Free Agreement Extended

North Macedonia and Taiwan have extended their mutual visa-free agreement until March 31, 2030. Citizens can stay up to 90 days within any 180-day period.

Entry with Valid Visas from Other Countries

Travelers holding valid multiple-entry visas or residence permits from the Schengen Area, USA, UK, or Canada can enter North Macedonia visa-free for up to 15 days. Ensure these documents are valid for at least 5 days beyond your intended stay.
